Dr. Brown is currently Founder and CEO of Lorenz Research Associates Inc, a science and innovation company.  He has over 25 years of research and operational experience where he developed significant number of innovations and provided hands on leadership guiding Research and Development activities across multiple disciplines.  Dr Brown laid his foundation working in government service with multiple research offices in Civil, Intelligence and Defense agencies. Today he is actively involved in the development of science and engineering partnerships across the country to foster world leading research to solve problems of national significance. He has an academic background in Communications and Coding Theory where he holds a PhD from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom.  He also has a strong interest in sustainable technologies and social interaction. He is an active supporter of Music and Theater in the Washington DC area. He has also served in advisory positions for several profit and nonprofit concerns supporting commercial, government and academic research, education and charity.
